The initially average weather didn’t put a damper on the mood at the Cannes Film Festival this year.
We enjoyed a five-day visit to the French Riviera, with lots of great meetings with our fantastic clients and industry friends, and the sun even decided to rear its head on the final two days.
Cannes was busier this year and the vibe was electric – from boat to villa parties, with the French cuisine as spectacular as ever.
The global film industry comes together to speak a universal language and to collaborate, and there were plenty of exciting conversations leading to long lasting friendships and partnerships.
We had more great conversations about Performance’s new venture with specialist media accountants Alliotts and media lawyers Reviewed and Cleared – Triple Exposure, with the people we spoke with saying “it sounds too good to be true” – but it really is!
Over the years our ‘Cannes family’ seems to only get bigger, but we like it that way as everyone is welcome.
